We met John in Nova Scotia as he sailed into the marina in St. Peter, and then formed a long lasting friendship than spanned twenty years. Our boats coincidentally met in various ports of call many times, and finding John there was always a happy surprise! Our hearts go out to his family and we hope that the love of others will ease their grief somehow. He was definitely one of a kind!
