Ms. Bonnie I was so sad to hear about Mr. Cole's passing. I had just went upstairs 2 see him a few days before he went home. I truely enjoyed getting to know him and I am sure he is breathing easy!! Praying for you and family!

Bonnie, I am sorry about your loss. David will be missed by many. He is at rest now not suffering and you know I was there with him some days when he was suffering and we did our best to make him comfortable. If you need anything just call me.

John "D.C."'s Obituaries

John David "D.C." Cole III, 54, of Matoaca passed away Friday, January 20, 2012. He was the son of the late John David Cole Jr., and Barbara Ann Wawner Cole. John was a member of Ettrick United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #882. He is survived by his sister, Bonnie C. Lundie and husband, Michael of Matoaca; niece, Crystal W. Jefferson and husband, Jock of Matoaca; nephew, Michael David Wynn of Matoaca; two great nieces, Kiah and Kalani. A memorial service will be held 7:00p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 in Ettrick United Methodist Church 21302 Chesterfield Avenue, Ettrick, Virginia 23803, with the Reverend Bob Lamb officiating. Interment Private. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flower contributions may be made to Ettrick United Methodist Church.
