Not sure what to say?

There is no doubt that John was a UT fan! He loved going to the games and when he could not go into the stadium he would go to the ex-UT center and watch the cheerleaders come in and do their cheers. We would go to my sisters restaurant Nuevo León before the game and everyone got to know John. He loved to talk and talk. His wife Elaine took very good care of John. We will miss him. Rest in Peace John! Hope Raby

John Doherty welcomed everyone and loved UT Football and UT Baseball. He was a big talker. At times it was hard to say a word because his excitement of games. He did loved his wife and his 2 sons and grandchildren.

Janna and Phillip Patrick.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Heartfelt condolences for your loss. John and I met at the Longhorn Breakfast Club in 1978. John was a man that had burnt orange blood in his veins. Elaine, please contact me so I may send you what I sent to his fellow Longhorn friends which has brought quite an outpouring of love for your family.
