Mr John Douglas was a true gentleman who always went out of his way to help others regardless of their means, I was proud to call him colleague, may you rest in peace, for your good works go before you, I ask the Douglas family to accept my deepest personal sympathy on your loss and my genuine solace.

A Remarkable man who led a Remarkable life! I’m so thankful to have known John during his Marriage to my Grandmother Patricia. We connected on many shared interests but most notably our passion for the water and boats of all kinds. I will miss our family Gatherings and the love he had for everyone he called family!

Dear Pat and all of John’s family,
We were shocked and so sad to hear of John’s sudden passing a few days ago. We had visited with Pat and John here at our house in January, and I’m very glad we got that chance. John was such a warm and generous man with an unmatched sense of humor. We met up with him and Pat for dinners throughout the years and always thoroughly enjoyed our times with them - sharing lots of laughter. We will miss him very much. Wherever John was his presence was mightily felt. Through his conversation he brought joy, through his action he brought comfort to the grieving, through the life he lived in the church and community his character. I enjoyed playing the Hammond organ for some of the services. Our sympathy to all of the family. He will be missed. Our loss is heavens gain.
