John was and forever will be, the most amazing, special and "one of a kind" human beings that I have ever met. He never met a stranger, his heart was so large that he had enough room for everyone who crossed his path. When he hugged someone, they felt his love, compassion and grace. There's no better hug than a John hug! He truly cared for everyone, always helping anyone who needed it and was so involved with the community that I jokingly nicknamed him Mr. Plattsburg.
