John's Obituaries

John N. Falcone age 82 of Exton, Pa. formerly of Malvern passed away surrounded by his family on December 16, 2012. He was the husband of the late Jo-Anne K. (nee Kenney) Falcone, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage. John is survived by his beloved daughter, Michele Loudin and his son-in-law Jeff of Chester Springs, He adored being Pop to his loving grandchildren J.J, Ashley and her husband Jay, and Big Pop to his great granddaughter Leyla. He is also survived by a brother Nick Falcone, Jr. his wife Joan and a sister Sarah D'Angelo, and 10 nieces & nephews.John was born in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia, son of the late Nicholas Falcone Sr & Edna Falcone (nee Fenuta). He served in the Marine Corp during the Korean conflict. He was a successful concrete curbing contractor in his family's business and later with his own business. John, with boundless energy, had a great zest for life. No matter where he was in the world, no doubt he probably knew someone there. John enjoyed golf with his many friends, cooking for anyone who knew him, playing cards at the 19th hole, reading and spending days telling stories, at the pool, surrounded by his many Chaddwell friends. He was a long time member of Chester Valley Golf Club also volunteering during the Senior Tour Golf Tournaments held there in the 1980's and 1990's. He was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and was an Eagles season ticket holder. John's life celebration viewing will be on Thursday Dec. 20, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM at Mauger/Givnish Funeral Home 24 Monument Ave. Malvern, Pa. Entombment at Philadelphia Memorial Park Frazer, Pa. In lieu of flowers please make donations, in John's memory, to the American Cancer Society
