Dear Mary Lou, Your dad was a wonderful man. A man every girl would be lucky to have as a father. I have such fond memories of him. My deepest sympathy my dear friend. I believe he is now enjoying heaven with your beautiful, wonderful Mom and the love of your life,Ron. Can you imaging the celebration they are having..I hope you can find confort and peace in knowing they are together and someday you will also be with them.

John C. FeriodJohn C. Feriod of Langhorne passed peacefully at home Monday December 10, 2012. He would have been 91 on January 1st.Born and raised in Woodbourne, John attended Cherry Street Elementary School and Langhorne-Middletown High School. He lived the last 64 years in Langhorne Borough.He was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church.John was the youngest of eight, born to John and Mary Justine, Italian immigrants that proudly came through Ellis Island.He was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Army Air Corp, 9th Air Force stationed in England. He flew 54 missions in the European Theater receiving Battle Stars for his participation in D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, and the Berlin Allied Airborne Assault over the Rhine River.He was employed at Badenhausen/Riley Stoker for 30 years until its closing; he then worked at Shutte & Koerting for 15 years where he retired in 1988. He also managed Skyline Car Wash on Sundays during the 1960s-1970s.Besides being an avid fan of the Phillies, he also enjoyed cooking and gardening. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lucy, who waited patiently to welcome him once again into her loving arms.Along with his parents, his siblings Joe, Nick, Dan, Mary, Ann, and Tony also proceeded in him in death. He will be sadly missed by his sister Millie Ejdys and in-laws Betty, Fanny, Margaret (Tom), and Adeline (Joe), along with several nieces and nephews.He is survived by his devoted children: John (Laura) of Glassboro, Mike (Sue) of Hulmeville, and Mary Lou (her late husband Ron) of Penndel. John also leaves behind his adored grandchildren: Michelle, Kevin, Krista, Colleen, Amy (fiancé Will), Jayme (Josh), Jodi (her fiancé Mike), Maggi (Matt), Shayne, Tyler, and his ever growing brood of great-grandchildren, Nylah, Gabriel, Nashay, Jayda, Micah and two on the way. He also had a special angel in Caitlin Kellmyer who helped him in his last days. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 S. Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform a random act of kindness in his memory.
