John S. Gilchrist Sr.

John was my cousin. I used to visit him when I was young. I remember one time when I was going home and it was late he gave me a bike to ride home on that had a light so I would be able to see riding home. I enjoyed my visits with him very much (this is when he lived below Eskdale, WV). Unfortunately I lost touch with him when I joined the navy at 19. I was able to see him one more time at one of our family reunions. Someday I'll see him again in Heaven! It was nice to read his obituary...
