My condolences to the family.
I grew up on Bayou DuLarge and always looked up to the McElroy family. Remembering Mr. J B being very involved in the church community. I remember he would announce bingo at the annual DuLarge fair. And his Mrs. Earline being my catechism teacher. She also made my wedding cake; they were like family to me.
I know this family will miss their dad, but rest assured, he is reaping his Heavenly Reward with Jesus Christ, his, and our Lord and Savior.
