I remember all the great times we had sitting on the front porch talking and laughing at the fact that both Jack and I were Czech and the good times going to church with Elaine. John K Larson Sr made me John K Larson jr the man I am. He changed everyone he knew. If you were lucky to know Jack Larson. He was the happiest person I ever met. Love is not given to anyone, but you felt it with Dad. I miss you so much. You are my HERO!!!!! All my love, your Son.

John "Jack"'s Obituary

Visitation for John “Jack” K. Larson Sr. is from 2-6 PM Friday November 9, 2018 at the Kristan Funeral Home PC 219 West Maple Ave. (2 blocks west of Rt. 45 on Rt. 176) Mundelein.  Funeral service will begin at 5:30 PM.  He was born March 18, 1936 in Chicago and died Tuesday November 6, 2018 in Lincolnshire.  Jack enjoyed playing golf.  He was a Ranger at Ivanhoe Country Club in Mundelein and was also a Ranger at Countryside Golf Course in Mundelein.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family.  Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years Paula (nee Carney), his children John Larson, Jennifer (John) Cronin, daughter in law Vanessa Larson,  daughter in-law Karen Larson, his brother Robert Bruce (Claire) Larson, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Laura and his sons Jeff Larson and Jim Larson.  In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or The American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.  For information visit www.kristanfuneralhome.com or call 847-566-8020.
