I just caught this on the news tonight and am so saddened. Jon and I worked together for many years at GB schools and were good friends. So many memories of working together and seeing him retire with the employees buyout back 2016 was one of the things we talked about after it was signed and Jon looked forward to retirement. Ran into each other at Golden Corral a few times and talked about retirement and how good it was for us. Will miss him greatly. Paul York

I grew up with John, Jim, and Jonathan. The Jarou house was always a great place to hang out. John was a great friend with a kind spirit. I am very saddened to learn of his passing.
