Not sure what to say?

John was a beautiful human being. I worked in Surgical Materials and would see John at the "Dock" everyday. I always enjoyed my conversations with him. He had a great sense of humor. He will be missed!

I want to pass my condolences off to the Kouri family. John was truly a great, and funny man. I will never forget his fist bumps, with a loud “What up beast!” Meagan and I are thinking of you all during this difficult time.

John and I worked together at Troy Beaumont from 1992 to 2010. He was an excellent manager who was able to meet the needs of the hospital while always staying calm no matter what happened. Everyone respected him and his kind spirit helped make Beaumont Troy a special place for everyone. He helped me with so many projects and I will always remember his sense of humor and teamwork. God bless his family.

I had the pleasure of working with John for many years. One thing you knew you could be assured of in every interaction with John, was a smile. He was genuinely kind, very good at his job and just an absolutely nice person.
I am sure John will be missed by all, but I hope you find comfort in the good man that he was.

John was an all around good guy. I couldn't have did my job at Family Medicine without him. He always had a smile on his face no matter how many requests I had which were many. He gave his all at Beaumont. John is one of God's favorite angels now looking over his family and others. God Bless John!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. John you were a big brother to me. I will never forget your humor and smile. Love you.

Paula and family,
John was the shining example of what a good person is. My deepest sympathies and thoughts are with you.

I grew up across the street from the Kouri family. You couldn't have had better neighbors than the Kouri family. I was John's age so I knew John the best. We spent many hours playing kick ball and tag games, etc. Long about second grade I told my older sister that I was going to marry John when we grew up. She never forgot that and teased me for years so that is a tug at my heart that he passed so young. We grew apart as teenagers but I am sure John matured into a kind soul as he was...

He was a wonderful boss and friend we all worked together he was patient and kind every Friday we would have a Friday feast every one would bring food we would set up a big table and eat our lunch we had a lot fun I worked in the office and did the paperwork. john was a working manager always willing to help.
