I miss my Dad more everyday! He was not only my Dad, but he was my best buddy! I loved him more than you could ever imagine! I look forward to the day when we are together again! Love you Dad!

Dad I love you and miss you so bad!

Last night you visited me in my dreams for the second time since you have passed. It bring joy to my heart to see your face and hear your voice again, and it feel so real. I love you big monkey! Tell everyone that I know and miss 'hello' for me up there!

I never knew this man, but I am very close to some of his family. From what I have heard he was a great man! My condolences to his friends and family.

My condolences to the Laranjo family. I did not know John personally but I do know the great person his grand daughter Nicole is and how much she loved him. My prayers are with John's family.

John's Obituary

On April 11, 2013, beloved husband, father and grandfather Johnny, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Patricia, two sons, Mark (Annette) and Lance (Candra) Laranjo and daughter Kimberly Jackson. He is also survived by his sisters Annie Fialho, Irene Stafford, Mary and Adeline Laranjo; his grandchildren, Sydney Locke, Nicole Flemming, Ashley Laranjo, John Jackson, Megan and Shannon Laranjo, Geena Re, Ava, Manny and Nicholas Garcia; his three great grandchildren, CJ, Oliva and Beckett and two goddaughters, Judy Garcia and Jeanine Re. He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews.Johnny worked at NASA for approximately 40 years as a metal fabricator and retired as a Branch Chief of Inspections. He formed many close and long lasting friendships with co-workers and extended families from the states of Washington and Oklahoma.His services will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th St., Gilroy, CA at 1pm on Thursday, April 18, 2013.In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to A.L.S. Center at UCSF in San Francisco or Pathways Hospice in Sunnyvale, CA.
