Not sure what to say?

I’m so lucky to have called you family for over two decades. Your laughter is one of the things I’ll miss most about you. What a loving husband, father, & friend. Thank you for always being welcoming, funny, & genuine. Shocking, still, to know you’re in Heaven. I wish God wouldn’t have called you “Home” so soon. Family & friends will watch over your beautiful family. Your absence will be forever missed. Rest in peace, John. You will always be thought of & loved by SO many.

Cathy and Family- thank you so much for sharing John with all of us!
John was such a special soul, I enjoyed our chats and will always remember how kind and welcoming he was. I am also grateful for how much he loved his band students, including my own children.

John is so deeply missed- sending love and prayers to your family.

It’s taken me this long to process John has moved to the next level. There is never a doubt how much he loved his wife Cathy and his kids AJ and Rose. Our cousin lineup photo is forever changed. I have been finding pennies in the most unusual places since he passed and feel like he’s with us still. Keep the door open for us John and don’t give the angels to much fireball!

John was a special person. He had a great sense of humor! He always talked about how lucky he was to have Cathy as a wife. He treasured his kids and was very proud of them. It’s shocking to think he has passed. He leaves a very big gap in our family. We all loved him dearly!

When I attempted breaking OHS’ bench press record, John was the guy I handpicked to ‘spot’ me turns out I didn’t need the spot and that same record stands today! (Set in 1985)

So sorry for your loss Cathy. I worked with John at meijer. He was a wonderful man. He would talk about you and the kids. He was so proud of AJ and Rose every accomplishment. He will be missed.

I will miss you forever.

He was the bast cowork he definitely will be missed

i remember when Cathy started hemming my dress for this years Homecoming dance & John told me that the dress looks great. i looked forward to seeing him through drivethru at mcdonalds & saying hi. i will miss him greatly & so will many others. rest well in peace
