Not sure what to say?

I am so so sorry to learn of John's passing. I was used to receiving circulating jokes from him, but hadn't received one in a while.

Lots of Love to Mary and their kids and grandkids. John was very special.

John Lucken was a dreamer and reached out in many ways!!

Dear Cousin John
You were the kindest, most wonderful cousin anyone could ask for. You were the best husband to our dear Cousin Mary. We loved you. May the Lord keep.you close to him and bring comfort to your family.

One of my favorite cousins! (They all are!!!) Saw John and Mary last July and had a nice, entertaining visit. Lots of good memories. Wish we could be there but unable to make it. Thoughts and prayers from the East Coast Division...... Love, David & Betty

Always such a warm inviting cousin. I remember as a little girl how talented he was and built or put together a stereo in the main room. Sorry we missed saying good bye by a few hours. Prayers for the family. Love, Faye

On behalf of the Augustana College Geology Department, I extend our deepest condolences to Mary and the family. John was a great friend, and we are fortunate to have gotten to know both John and Mary. John was warm, generous, and fun. And he loved hearing about the activities of Augustana College geology students. We will miss him!

So sorry to hear. He was one of the nicest people in Akron. When we just moved here he helped pull our car out of a snow drift.

Mary and family, My deepest condolences to you. John was a good man who wasn’t afraid to speak his mind! I enjoyed cutting his hair and visiting with him about various subjects. He will be truly missed
