Sorry to hear of Johns passing. John was a very good friend/supervisor from years ago. I learned a lot from John about life and , of course, the paint/bodywork art form. Prayers to the Ritchardson family.

John M.'s Obituary

John Mitchell Ritchardson, 57 years old of Jamestown, IN, passed away from a heart attack Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home.He was born November 11, 1958 in Lebanon, IN, son of Teis Paul and Jo-Anne (Goodwin) Ritchardson. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing and riding his Harley motorcycle. John was highly skilled and respected in his trade. He did work for A.J. Foyt and Jeff Gordon. This spring his work was included in a Pentagon exhibit for the F-15 missile. It is now on display at the Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Julie Ann (Andy) Creech of Jamestown, brother, Dana Lawson (Nancy) Ritchardson of Danville, 2 nieces, 3 nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.Family and friends will gather Tuesday, November 24, 2015, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fred R. Ritchardson, Jr. officiating.
