I met John through a mutual friend shortly after buying a 150 year old house. John was the master of all trades!! He helped me fixed so many things. When he couldn't do it by himself, he brought his family along. Matt, thank you for your help. So sorry you lost your dad. Chris thank you. So sorry you lost your dear cousin. Charles thank you. So sorry you lost your very dear friend. John was faithful, loyal, thoughtful, selfless and kind. In January when my fence blew down, he got his son John...

I met John while working at the Watertown Urban Mission. Cut from a different cloth doesn't begin to describe him. He was genuine, funny, and most of all he cared about everyone around him and if you were slipping, he wasn't afraid to tell you to pull your head out of your.....he would give you the shirt of his back if you needed it. To say the world suffered a great loss is an understatement. They don't make real ones like John too often. Anyone that was lucky enough to call him their friend...

I grew up with John. His Dad and Mom came to the farm many times a week. They had 9 children so they needed a lot of milk! We had such fun playing hide and seek and I remember laughing so hard every time we all got together! Johnny had a kind heart and was a great cousin who will be dearly missed! As we got older and went our different ways we may not have seen each other as often but each time we did, usually at the family reunion, it was like no time had been missed! I’m truly sorry...
