Greetings from the beautiful state of Hawaii! We pray that all is well with you and the Myrick Family. We extend our deepest smypathy and regret that we could not be with you this pass week. Please know you have been in our prayers.

We serve an awesome God and I know He is providing you the strength and comfort during this difficult journey. We will continue to pray your strength in the Lord as you mourn the loss of your beloved...

God in his infinite wisdom called from labor to reward our love one, John W. Myrick, Sr., ?Peter?, 72, on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Southside Regional Center, Petersburg, Va.He was the son of the late Lee and Octavious Robinson Myrick born January 5, 1941 in Dinwiddie County, Va. He attended Dinwiddie Public Schools. He retired from Brenco with over thirty years of service. He was the youngest son of twelve children and ten preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his grandson, Lathe Diggs. He was an avid gardener. He loved flowers, cooking and spending time with family and friends.Left to cherish his precious memories a devoted wife of 51 years, Elizabeth V. Myrick; a daughter, Paula A. Burton; two sons, John W. (Serena) and Leon (Tabatha) both of Petersburg, Va.; four god-daughters, Patricia H. Rowe (Johnny) of Petersburg, Va., Frances E. Williams of Chesterfield, Va., Kristy A. Clark of Woodbridge, Va., and Shelia Williams of Richmond, Va.; five god-sons, Wilbert T. Harper of Petersburg, Va., Ronald Harper (Cynthia) of Colonial Heights, Va., Bernard Harper (Trisha), and Michael Williams (Teresa) both of Petersburg, Va., and Darrell Hunt of Prince George, Va.; six grandchildren, Taiesha Williamson of Richmond, Va., and Nakia Myrick of Hopewell, Va., Charles Burton, Jr., Deandra and Leandra Myrick, and Johnnelle Myrick all of Petersburg, Va.; great grandchild, Dezenia Ruffin of Hopewell, Va.; a sister, Roberta Granderson (Randolph) of Carson, Va.; three sisters-in-law, Rosa M. Harper, Eva H. Williams, and Barbara H.
