John T. "JT" Oliver, Sr. of Gloucester passed away on Sunday. October 6, 2024. He was born in Richmond, Va. and was the son of the late Thomas and Nannie Lee Milby Oliver. He was a member of Petsworth Baptist Church and was an Honorary member of J.W. Lilly Hunt Club. He was employed at Blake's Septic Service for 42 years. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dale Oliver, son John T. Oliver, Jr.(Christi), daughter Michelle Robbins(Eddie), grandchildren Andrew Oliver, Lauren Denson, Macy Young, Nick Robbins, Olivia Robbins, and Peyton Robbins, and his great grandchildren Nathan, Tanner, Brody, Bennett, and Silas. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Petsworth Baptist Church at 10:30. There will be a reception following the service at church. Memorial donations may be make to Petsworth Baptist Church. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
