Not sure what to say?

John is and will always be someone I loved, appreciated and always will. May God hold him in his arms and keep him with much love and grace forever. May the daughters and family know how much he loved and admired you all with such pride and respect. May you know how much he loved you all! I am sorry to have lost him so soon in life, but he will be there in every page of your life forever, because he loved you all so very much! Hugs to the family and each one of you.

John’s sense of humor and camaraderie will truly be missed but also fondly remembered. I can recall numerous times our Dad would call him just for the latest oil prices, but would end up talking for hours about local and professional sports, as well as solving all of the world and local problems.
We are thankful for his caring and trusted professional service for years.
Our prayers for all of John’s family and friends to find peace and comfort knowing how much he meant to so...

Many years ago, as the owner of 91/85 Thames Street (Hewes Sweet Oil Company), John and I were neighbors and friendly competitors. Those days in Groton on Thames Street and at the Pioneer Hose Company are now a treasure trove of memories. May his soul rest in peace.

John and I shared a lot of memories and a lot of laughs over the years. He shared holidays and functions with my family as I did with his. A great friend. I will miss him.

Sincerest Condolences to All Of John's Family and Friends. He was a great guy, lucky to have known him.

Dear Lauren and family - So sorry to read of the death of your father. May you find comfort and strength in all your memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Sincerely, Stacy Haines

I remember John as we grew up on Baker Avenue. His mother, Rita was good friends with my mother, also Rita. It was a good place to grow up and raise a family. My sympathies to the family. May he rest in peace.

I knew John and the Santacroce family as they grew up on Baker Ave as did I. John's mother Rita was a very good friend of my mother, also named Rita. I have found memories of the family growing up in a great neighborhood where we all knew each other and played together. It is with this fondness that I remember John. Rest in Peace. My sympathies to the family.
