John W Sapienza

1954 - 2025

John W., age 70 of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025.  John was the answer to his mother’s last attempt at having a baby girl, he and his identical twin, Philip, were born on May 3, 1954, in New York, New York. John was a Podiatrist who treated Medicare and Medicaid patients and the indigent people of New York, NY.  He started his practice in Bedford Stuyvesant, New York, later moving to Palm Coast, Florida in 1998 where he continued to serve the community.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Miriam Sapienza; and his brother, Philip.

John is survived by his long-time companion and caregiver, Carmela Verrechio; two older brothers, Richard and Stephen, three nephews; two nieces; many great nieces and nephews; other family and friends.  John will be deeply missed as heaven has just gained another angel.  No services are planned at this time.

The Sapienza family has entrusted arrangements for John to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
