It was with sadness that we learned of John passing. Had come to know John as a "friend and a colleague" having worked together over the last few years on a number of projects. Nothing we say can assuage the sadness you feel, but try to find comfort in the words of the Good Book: "May The Lord Bless you and Keep you; May The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you; May The Lord lift up His Countenance upon you and give you Peace"...

To the Saunders family ... I offer my sincere sympathy for your loss. I also very recently lost my husband to multiple myeloma. Reading John's obituary, there are many similarities in his life with my husbands' ... treated at Dana Farber, MSEE from NU, hiking and skiing.
