John's Obituary

John was born in 1957, in White Plains, New York to Carolyn Eckley and John Schuehler. He and his twin sister, Mary moved to Florida with his parents in 1967. John was a very educated man. He attended Canterbury Prep School in Connecticut. John then moved to Manhattan to study Literature at Bard University, New York University, and Columbia University. While in Manhattan, he lived with his Aunt, Mary Eckley. He was always close with his Aunt. These years he spent living in Manhattan probably explains why he enjoyed any movie that was filmed in New York. After college, John returned to Florida and became a big fan of the Marlins and Dolphins. He also had a fondness for nostalgic music, movies and TV shows. One of his favorite shows was the Soprano's. He was also an avid collector of diverse music and books. John was also an animal lover. He adored his cat, Caliger and was especially fond of wolves. For almost the last 3 years, John worked at The Brace Shop, in Customer Service. He truly loved this job and his coworkers. They definitely made a difference in his life. John is survived by his twin sister, Mary and his cat, Caliger. Even though he left us unexpectedly, he will live on in our memories forever. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 7-9PM with a Scripture Service at 8:00PM at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave. Delray Beach, FL 33483.
