John ?Johnny? Scrimale, 23, of West Monroe passed away Saturday following a motor vehicle accident.A graduate of Paul V. Moore High School and the National Personal Training Institute, John was the Assistant Supervisor at Scrimale Collision.John loved his family, his dog Remington, his cat Bigfoot and his friends Justin and the crew who he spent much time with. He was an avid fisherman who loved golfing with his friend Jake and snowboarding with his brother Alex. Also, he always looked forward to camping at the Sterling Stage Music Festival every year. John was pre-deceased by his maternal grandparents, Bill and JoAnn Osborn.Surviving are his parents, John and Michele Scrimale; his sister Makin. His brother Alex; his paternal grandparents Anthony and Kaye Scrimale; and many aunts uncles and cousins.Calling hours will be 4-7pm Wednesday with a brief service following at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main St., Central Square, the Rev. Michael Thesier officiating.Johnny?s family would like to express their gratitude for all the kind words and thoughts so many have given.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking all to do something kind for someone. Any monetary contributions will go toward Alex?s college education.
