John William Snyder

John William Snyder, beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the age of 72. He is survived by his loving wife, Lee, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. Father of William, Matthew and Nicholas Snyder, grandfather of Harper, Jack and Graham. John is the brother of his dear sister, Jane Piper, of Champaign, IL.John was raised in Herrin, IL. He was the son of Bill and Mary Louise Snyder. He graduated from University of Illinois in 1976 and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. John was a manufacturer representative of industrial supplies for many years and served many cities in the Midwest and beyond. John treasured his time with his three sons and three grandchildren. He celebrated their many accomplishments and rarely missed their sporting events when they were young. John had a joke for every occasion and would often be the life of the party.Papa John will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Services: Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Interment private.
