Not sure what to say?

He was the sweetest of dad's who ate the biggest bowl of cereal I've ever seen. Glad I got to spend many special times visiting with him on the farm and at other events (as Nora's college roomie & friend). I am blessed to be a recipient of one of his handmade knives. I use it daily and think of him each time. Always full of laughs, he made me smile!!!

Although I only knew him through Nora's Facebook posts, I could tell what a beloved and wonderful Dad he was, and how greatly he'll be missed. My sincerest condolences to Nora and all who loved him. Let perpetual light shine upon him.

I never saw him without a smile on his face. The Indiana State Fair will miss him, too. A Hoosier treasure, for sure. Condolences to the entire Spitznogle family...

Always a smile on your face and encouraging words. We will miss you so much and think of you often. Until we meet again one day.

I only got to meet you once but you lite the room with your smile. My thought and prayers are with your family.

I have enjoyed all the stories Ann has shared over the years about her family and her dad. Seeing all these pictures is a wonderful reminder of living life to its fullest. My thoughts and prayers are with John’s family and friends.

John was great neighbor to me. He was just a great person. I’ll miss him stopping in just to say Hi. This picture was at our wedding in 2017. John enjoyed the whole night on the dance floor. The neighborhood won’t be the same without him.
