Not sure what to say?

Our family was privileged to have Jackie and John as neighbors for over a decade in Whitefish Bay. We loved spending time with him and engaging in deep conversations. John was artistic, athletic, full of humor and humane- a truly remarkable man all of us will miss. Sending love- Heidi, Martin, Saskia, Nik and Katrina Burmeister ❤

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation is truly sorry for your family's loss. Please accept our condolences on the passing of your loved one.

My first encounter with John was applying for a job at Stone Advertising after college.

His first question “Who was your father Bob or Terry (Aiken)?

My reply “Which one did you like better?”

He laughed and hired me on the spot.

I am grateful for the years of mentorship, laughter, backgammon matches, and a friendship that went on long after working there.

Jackie, Tiffany and Lacey, what a privilege it was to see how much he loved you...

A very sad day throughout the Nagle family in the passing of John Stone. He was a legend to all of us, not just as a premier athlete, but as an extremely humble, articulate, soft spoken, and genuine friend.

John’s accomplishments on the basketball court were remarkable. He put WFB on the WIAA map. I recall watching him “light up the scoreboard “ for a conference record 55 points vs West Milwaukee. He was unstoppable during his illustrious career.

Throughout the years,...

I was profoundly sorry to hear of John's passing. My sincere condolences to Jackie and the entire Stone family. John has been a friend of mine for over 40 years. We shared many great times together both business and personal. John had a wonderful sense of humor and was a master of practical jokes. There are many fine things I can say about John, but simply he was one of the nicest and kindest guys I have ever met! One thing I know for sure, John is one of the starting five in heaven! RIP John.

John always gave his best in everything he did. May his memory be for a blessing.
RIP WFB'59 friend.
