John's Obituary
Wharton: John J. Thuring passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was 56 years of age.
John was born and raised in Jersey City, then lived in Rutherford and has lived in Wharton for the past 32 years. He worked as a tow truck driver for Roxbury Auto for many years.
He was predeceased by his parents Paul Sr. and Elizabeth Thuring and brother Ronald.
He is survived by his wife Marlena (nee Culotta), two brothers; Paul Jr. and Gerard, two sisters Mary Ho and Lucy Temme and her husband Dennis. And many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 12-3pm on Sunday April, 2 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A Funeral Mass will be held 10am on Monday at St. Mary’s Church in Wharton. Interment will be private.
