Not sure what to say?

JT was one hell of a good man and a one the finest sailors I've had the pleasure of working alongside of. He was always there to answer questions and lend a helping hand. He mentored so many young and old sailors throughout his time in the Navy, many of them went on to be leaders of their own divisions. This one hurts a lot and I you will always be on my mind. Rest easy my friend, we have the watch.

Our deepest condolences Kathy to you and your family. JT is a legend and I treasure the countless hours I was able to spend with him on the Mighty Memphis, and also turning wrenches with him in the garage in Groton, along with all of the tear-inducing, humorous commentary that always accompanied it. I am happy that we were able to chat several times since his retirement. He touched countless lives and was taken way too soon. In our prayers always.

My deepest condolences to Kathy during this unimaginable transition. I was just a server at La Corona but seeing you guys weekly became something I always looked forward to. I think I speak for many who knew you as a couple, the air felt lighter & it was easier to smile when you were there. Love you both!

I didn’t know John and his family , but his neice Morgan was one of my friends and she is very important to me . I know Morgan loves her family . Iam really sorry for everyone’s loss . I will be praying for you all

JT. You are a True American Hero! . You dedicated your life to the service of this Great Nation . It is a real pleasure to have served with you onboard USS Pogy SSN 647. I remember a MC ride in San Diego when my son made the youthful comment that my MC was so much faster than yours because the odometer registered 160. . Another memorable moment was the fine gift offered by yourself and Kathy at our new home purchase. (Dozen chicks ). . RIP a tremendous Friend and Shipmate

Sorry I’m late on this. Just had dinner with Mac jr who informed me about John. I can’t tell you Kathy, how much I enjoyed the brief relationship that I had with you and John. You’re good people !

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dear Kathy. You and your family are in my prayers. Tuck was truly one of God's better Angels.

Kathy and family,
My heartfelt condolences to all. I met JT and Kathy at the Shipyard. Shared so many laughs and good talks. JT always had a smile and a helping hand when I had a question. Wishing you all find some comfort in the many memories of good times with JT. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Rest in Peace John. You are missed my friend.
