I have known John since he was just a little boy. He was a good kid.

John and I became family through marriage, but He was more than that. He was a dear friend, and I am tremendously saddened that He is gone. I will miss you deeply my friend, but I am happy that you are released from your pain and turmoil. I know that you are resting comfortably now. Much Love.

I, and my family up here in British Columbia and across the US, will always give thanks for John. 15 years ago, my brother, Paul, was very sick and, his friend, John, contacted me to let me know. Paul and John had become close friends after Paul visited, and then moved into Pana. I flew down to be with Paul, spent the last week of his life with him, and with John's much-needed and freely-given help, prepared Paul for his dying. At the end of that week, I had to return to BC.
