Just cam across this this, it has many years since we were water sking off the guest house dock, selling corn and pototoes for Jack all across the cities. Having a blast!

It was always fun watching John grow up. We were proud of his success in life and conversations were always interesting. Great memories shared with your family. Sending love, prayers, and hugs to all the Washburn family, our special forever friends.

I miss you my friend. We share so many friends and good memories. We worked together at three different companies and always had each others backs. Much fun away from work too. Remembering the George Michael phase.

Very sad to hear about John's passing. Condolences to John's family. I met John when I was just graduating high school. I met him on the tail end of when he was working at Montgomery Ward's shoe department. John, I and other friends would love going skiing in the winter. In the summer months, John and I (and others) enjoyed cruising in John's red Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with his cool shades on, long flowing hair blowing in the wind, and puka shells draped around his neck.
