John White was such a good bridge player and a stalwart at our little bridge club at Austin Heath. He was remarkable to speak to and kept his sense of humour to the end. You will be missed.

''Jack'' and I were very good friends from his days at work at Schweitzer - Mauduit. Remained good friends after he retired. We both enjoyed going to car shows and an occasional dinner, too.
