Johnny's Obituary
Johnny Ray Fowler, aged 65, of Conway, passed away on the afternoon of January 15, 2026, at Conway Medical Center in Conway after an extended illness. Born on October 5, 1960, in Columbus County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Deary Fowler and Estalene Cartrette Fowler. Johnny Ray worked as a farm worker and enjoyed piddling on things, often helping his brother Garland with car repairs.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Garland Fowler, Jr. of Mullins, Charles Fowler of Whiteville, NC, Barbara Hinson of Mullins, Patsy Fowler of Conway, Jimmie Lou Vause of Elizabethtown, NC, and Deary, Jr. Fowler of Chadburn, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Deary Fowler and Estalene Cartrette Fowler.
