Johnny Thomas Gross, Jr, age 74 of New Boston, Texas passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 in a local hospital. Mr. Gross was born January 28, 1944 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of Old Salem Baptist Church, New Boston.
Survivors include his wife, Tena Steward Gross of New Boston, Texas, his children, Pam, Gary, Kim and Derek, Matthew, one brother, Billy Isaack, one sister, Mary Akin, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the funeral home. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2018 in Old Salem Cemetery, New Boston with Bro. Cory Espinoza officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston.
