Johnny Marion Vaught, 64, of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Berea Hospital. He was born in Jacksonville, Kentucky on November 10, 1951, son of the late Cyrus and Hazel Wiles Vaught. He was a salesman for North Brothers in Lexington.He is survived by two sons, John David Vaught & (Darla) of West Liberty, KY and Aaron Vaught of Arlington, TX, two daughters, Rachael Michelle Vaught & (Frankie) of Bethelridge, KY and Christina Helena Vaught Douwes of Texas, two brothers, Jack Vaught and Jeff Vaught, both of Science Hill, four sisters, Reca Moore of Science Hill, Brenda Jean Burton of Somerset, Charlsie Buis of Liberty, KY and Sue Buis of Vaught Ridge, KY, six grandchildren, Jonathan Vaught, Samantha Vaught, Rebecca Vaught, Savannah Johnson, Zachery Vaught and Caitlynn Murphy, two great-grandchildren, Harper Faith and Sadie Elaine Vaught, special friend, Merita Thompson of Richmond, KY, special nephew, Mike Barber of Mt. Victory, KY and several other nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Homer Vaught, Tom Vaught and Lonnie Vaught and three sisters, Margaret Larkins, Lillian Burkett and Betty Douglas.Visitation will be after 2 PM Friday, April 15, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.A celebration of life service will be held at 4:30 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
