My heart go out to my brother the family of JB that I been knowing since the 80's a good person like a brother be strong and God will do the rest. Fred Miller as JB would call me when he see me Freddie Fred .

Jonathan Dwayne Brown, lovingly known as “JB,” was born on September 22, 1964, to Ann Elizabeth Blackwell Brown and Gerald Fitzgerald Lowell Brown, Sr. He entered eternal rest on December 9, 2025. 

Jonathan was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ann Elizabeth Blackwell Brown; his brother, Gerald “Jerry” Brown; his grandparents, Nathaniel and Janie Blackwell and Lowell and Ouida (née Cotton) Brown; his uncles, Hugh D. Blackwell, Sr. and Dennis Brown; and his aunts, Shirley Blackwell Johnson, Granada Brown Lewis, and Lillian D. Brown Hardaway.

He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory his loving father, Gerald F. L. Brown, Sr.; his daughters, Kendra and Janayla Brown; his son, Jonathan Dwayne Brown, Jr.; his treasured granddaughter, K’La Jordan; uncles, Alphonso Blackwell, Vernon (Joy) Brown; aunts, James Etta Henry Meadows, Diane Brown, Harriet Brown Davis, and Ruthie (Kirk) Price; a beloved cousin, Lorri Hayes; special friend Brenda Peaches; a host of loving relatives and friends from the Brown and Blackwell families.
