Jonathan "Jon" Chionchio, age 42 of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri from heart failure. He was employed by Paychex Inc in Chesterfield, Missouri from 2012 to present day. He was previously with ADP and DHL, both in the St. Louis area. Jon was a U.S. Navy Operations Specialist stationed in Norfolk, Virginia from 1993 - 1999. Jon attended Lindenwood University from 2000 - 2004 and Lafayette High School from 1988 - 1992.Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Chionchio. Surviving are his father, Jonathan Chionchio Sr., and his brothers and sisters, Amy Chionchio, Jordan Rutroff, Amanda McEwan, Adam Chionchio, Sarah Gambino and Patrick Chionchio and his three nephews, eight nieces, three aunts and many wonderful and dearest friends.Services: Funeral from the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, 9:30 a.m. to Ascension Catholic Church, Chesterfield, for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association. Visitation Thursday 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friends may sign the family’s on-line guestbook at Schrader.com. Jon was a friend to so many and will be missed dearly. All are welcome to attend all services.
