Not sure what to say?

I met Todd through being an agent in real estate and showing one of his listings. He was a great professional and cared about people. I learned he loved boats (which I also do!) and he and I chatted through the years about the sea. I'm a Yachtmaster and so Todd and I had a camaraderie right off the bat. We enjoyed chatting about sailing and different places. He was truly one of the most genuine, friendly, down to earth and cool people I have ever known. Todd - you are missed by many.

Dear Turner family, I’m in shock to learn of Todd’s passing. I met Todd 25 years ago in Isla Mujeres, Mexico when he was there picking up a boat and bringing it back to the states. I was drawn to his smile and lust for life. He later brought me to experience Ocracoke, the Outer Banks and his love for raw oysters. All a new experience for a girl from the Midwest. I’ve never forgotten those visits and will always cherish them. I will pray for peace for your family now and forever. Laurie...

Dear Turner family, I learned about Todd's passing just today while on Facebook which I go onto very infrequently. I am stunned and deeply saddened by this news. Todd and I went to high school together and played on the tennis team together. He was smart, hilarious, and fun. Most of all he was a kind soul. Just a good good person. Todd made everyone around him feel like they mattered. I am having trouble fathoming the news. I am sending my love to Wood and the whole family. Todd will always...

I was just in Wilmington for the first time in a while, and was reminiscing about the first friend I met there, Todd Turner. I went on Facebook just now to send him a message, and that’s how I learned about his death. I am gutted. We only stayed in touch through family Christmas cards and the occasional Facebook message - but I truly thought he was still happily living in Wilmington, sailing and laughing and running half the downtown. I met Todd by chance, and was so thankful that I did. I...

I stayed with the Turner family as a Rotary exchange student in 1987 where I met Todd. just came back to Raleigh for a short vacation visit and read about his death. there are no words, I remember him as a happy and very kind brother to me for three weeks then. so sorry for all of his family!

I met Todd in September of 2016. He was a down to Earth man. I enjoyed the conversations we had. I just found out today. I'm crushed as if it happened today. I understood him. I can relate to him. Prayers for Dr. & Mary Ellison Turner and family. May Peace of The Lord Jesus be with you all. Amen.

I was devastated to hear about Todd's passing. I heard about a month after it happened so it came as a huge shock. Todd was the most wonderful, sweet and caring man and the world is poorer without him. He was so smart and accomplished and gave so much to others. My sincerest condolences to all of his survivors. I will miss him so much.

I am so saddened to hear of Todd's passing. I have such warm and wonderful memories of Todd in the Moppet Children's Theatre along with KHS Drama Club. Even though I haven't seen Todd for years, I tried to stay in touch through FB. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with the entire family. The Turner Family was such a big part of my childhood, and I will always be grateful for their friendship and support during my formative years.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. JB Woodhouse, KHS 1989
