Jone Marie Bosworth

I am saddened and shocked, having just discovered this news today. Jone and I were connected through social media, and Jone shared many funny and insightful articles on the magazine I founded. I very much respected Jone and was delighted I had made that connection and to have shared some of her memorable and inspiring work where her lovely energy shone through.

Thank you for your great contribution to this world. You are missed.

I have many fond memories of Jone as she pursued excellence in many academic and extra- curricular activities at OHS. She was a fun classmate. Condolences to her many friends and family.

Jone, what a sad shock to learn you are gone. You were boisterous, loving, creative, hard-working, funny--such a big personality! What a loss to your family, friends and the world. Safe passage, my friend, and farewell.

I always admired Jone, beginning in grade school Sunday school. Always very beautiful, stylish, and confident. And her wonderful voice, I loved to hear her sing. After graduating and moving away I always looked forward to coming back to Bethany at Christmas to see if Jone was there to sing. Lifting up prayers for comfort and peace to Elaine, Susan, Kevin, and families.

As a boss, a mentor, a colleague, and a friend -- there are so many times I was challenged, inspired, supported, and guided by you Jone. You gave so much of yourself to bringing out the very best in others and always with feistiness, humor and love. You embodied what a true life of public service is and we will never know how many families and children are now on a different, better life trajectory because of your work and passion.
