Not sure what to say?

Rhonda and I found ourselves in West Jordan moving into our first home on Laguna Dr , immediately being taken in by many wonderful neighbors and ward members in the then W J 2nd Ward . Uncle Jordan will always be cherished and missed by my brothers and I. He would always come pick the four of us up and take us in adventures; whether it was driving up butterfield canyon to look and watch wildlife while listening to Journey, or taking us out to dinners, Iggy’s being his favorite. We will miss you greatly ❤

Jordan's Obituary

Jordan B. Jewkes passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. He was born on March 22, 1960, and was adopted as an infant by his loving parents, Max Curtis Jewkes and Joy Ruby Burmester Jewkes.

Jordan grew up surrounded by love and laughter. He graduated from Bingham High School in 1978, where he proudly played football and earned his letterman status. After high school, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Rochester, New York Mission.

Upon returning home, Jordan married Kandi Wilson Johnson, and together they were blessed with a daughter, Kristen Jewkes. Jordan adored his family deeply.

He loved life and found great joy in the outdoors—especially hunting trips with his dogs, his brothers, and close friends. He also cherished camping adventures, golf outings, and memorable trips to Lake Powell. Jordan loved working alongside his father at M.C. Jewkes Company and took great pride in his work at Kent Bown Masonry, where he began working as a young man. Later in life, he enjoyed driving buses throughout Park City and Kennecott and with Silver Eagle Bus Lines, where he made many lasting friendships along the way.

Jordan will be remembered for his big heart, his love for adventure, and the way he brought laughter and loyalty to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, whose lives were forever brightened by his warmth and good humor.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Jewkes: Eight of his ten siblings; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max Curtis Jewkes and Joy Ruby Burmester Jewkes; his sister, Susan Jewkes Carpenter; and his brother, Morgan Richard Jewkes.
