José's Obituary

     José Luis Ramirez, 69 of Midland, TX, surrounded by his loved ones, walked into the hands of our God on December 6, 2025 at his home. Jose was born in Juarez, Chihuahua on October 30, 1956 to Carmen & Cruz Ramirez. He lived 54 years of his life in Midland, where he later picked up his career of 31 years sandblasting & painting. He absolutely loved what he did and loved the company he worked for. Jose was a loving & caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle & friend. He touched the hearts of everyone he came across, and with open hands helped & did for his family & friends. Joe, as many knew him by, was always the life of the party. He had his passion for dancing at any given moment & putting smiles on everyone’s faces. 

     Jose leaves to cherish his memory to his strong & loving wife of 49 years, Gloria Rogers Ramirez. His children, Jose Luis Ramirez Jr (Manie), Rubén Ramirez (Zulema), Jennifer Ramirez Machuca (Jesse), Ricky Ramirez (Julissa), along with 12 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren & numerous nieces & nephews. His sisters Naty, Rosa, Alicia (Licha), Sylvia & brother Joaquin Ramirez. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cruz & Carmen Ramirez & Brothers Ramon Ramirez & Justo Ramirez. 

     Pallbearers include Ruben Ramirez Jr, Jose Luis (Tres) Ramirez III, BiBiano Machuca, Joshua Machuca, Armando Trejo, Andrés Trejo, José (Chacho) Herrera & Fernando Quiroz. The family of Jose Ramirez, would like to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out with condolences, thoughts & prayers as we mourn the loss of a great & loving man. 

 

Service are Entrusted to Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. 

Viewing Saturday 12/13/25 from 2 pm to 9pm in chapel

Viewing Sunday 12/14/25 from 12 noon to 9pm 

Rosary at 7pm in chapel 

Funeral mass Monday 12/15/25 at 10:00 am at our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & shrine
