After 17 years apart we were finally given time--far too short, but deeply meaningful. I wish we had more moments, more stories, more days to make up for what was lost. But I am grateful you made it home. Grateful I got to see you, to speak with you, to hold you in my thoughts again not just in memory, but in life.
