Jose Pando Rubio

Jose Pando Rubio, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Midland Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 3, 1940, in Ojinaga Chihuahua Mexico to the late Esteban Pando Licpm and Margarita Rubio.He was a police officer in Ojinaga Chihuahua Mexico during the 1970's and was also in agriculture. He met and Married Francisca Sotelo in 1960. Jose moved to Midland, TX in 1985 and went to work as a roustabout in the oilfields. Jose enjoyed cooking out and visiting his family and friends telling them old stories. He loved spending time with his late wife and his loving children and grandchildren. He attended Iglesia de Cristo at Cherry Lane.He is preceded in death by his wife Francisca Sotelo Pando. Jose is survived by his seven sons; Victor Pando, Abel Pando, Jose Luis Pando all of Midland, TX; Ovidio Pando, Guillermo Pando both of Weatherford, TX; Hugo Pando and Ever Pando both of Midland, TX; his four daughters; Paula Gabaldon, Norma Pando, Maritza Pando all of Midland, TX and Yuliana Pando of Ojinaga Chihuahua Mexico. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral Service is set for Wednesday, November 14, 201 at 11:00 am at Iglesia de Cristo at Cherry Lane with Elder Salvador Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens
