Thelma, Mike and Bill, Joey was such a joy to me. I'm grateful for the younger brother he was for the short time I was an active part of your family. He was a joy with such a young spirit. I will always remember him that way. I loved seeing him at my Dad's funeral, he was so thoughtful that way. What a blessing Joey was. I'm so sorry for your loss. I love you,

Joseph's Obituary

Joseph J. Baca passed away suddenly on Sunday October 13, 2013. He was born In Albuquerque, NM, April 20, 1961. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. Baca and his grandparents, maternal and paternal. Joseph is survived by his wife, Melanie; three sons, Joseph, Presciliano, and Anthony; stepdaughter, Valerie stepson, Sheil; two grandchildren, Joseph and Amorae Baca; mother, Thelma; brothers, Dennis, Michael and Bill Baca along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Joseph graduated from Del Norte High School and served proudly with the Army Reserve. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 100. Joseph was loved and respected as a member of the Zuni Community in which he lived. All services will be held at The Church of the Risen Savior, located at 7701Wyoming, NE beginning with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2013. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 12:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, (505)764-9663.
