Sincere condolences for your family. I didn't see Joe more than maybe once after we graduated, so lost track of him.

Joseph's Obituary

Joseph Scott Brosius, 59, of Omaha, Ne., passed away March 12,2025 at his home.He was born July 17,1965 to Dennis and Trudy (Portz) Brosius of Stapleton, Ne.

Joe Grew up near Stapleton, Ne. on the family farm. He was a professional driver for a National Carrier for many years, traveling coast to coast. He loved farming and enjoyed restoring old machinery. 

Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Trudy Brosius, Sisters Bell (Tony) Meyer, Amy (Trevor) Buhler, Ann (Jerry) Bloodhart, Tess (Jamie) Simpkins, and Brother John (Tierney) Brosius.Aunts, Jan (Gary) Bush, Molly (Kevin) Gorman, 12 nieces and nephews, and his dog (Killer).

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Kenneth and Irene Brosius, and Ed and Mary Portz. 

Rosary to be held at 9 a.m., Monday, March 17, 2025, preceding the Mass of the Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in North Platte, Ne. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Stapleton, Ne.

Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
