Joseph Burdiak, age 89; Army Korean War Veteran.  Beloved husband of Christine née Pridun.  Loving father of Diane (Stan) Nykaza and Michael (Tammy).  Devoted grandfather of Kevin and Michael Nykaza, Kelcie and Joseph Burdiak.  Dear brother of Rose and Olga.  Special friend of Randy and Marleen Mazura.Visitation Monday 3pm. to 9pm at RICHARD J MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W.143rd St  Homer Glen where Pankhyda will be held at 5pm.  Funeral Tuesday 9am from funeral home to Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church; 8530 W. 131st St., Palos Park; Parastas 10am.
