Joseph is survived by 2 daughters, Amber Lenig and Angela Schortgen; his sisters, Bonnie (Lance) Noftsier, Debra Downs, Pennie (George) Biber, Susan Caldwell; his nieces, Crystal Holbourn, Jessica (George) Giannetti, Tashua (Vic) Natali, Peyton Caldwell; his nephew, Steven (Amber) Noftsier; and several cousins (some of which were like brothers to him).
Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Nancy Downs.
Per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral. A graveside service will be held at Dexter Cemetery Tuesday, September 23rd at 11:00am.
Arrangements are with Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
