Joseph C. Ebert, 87, of San Tan Valley, Az passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 in San Tan Valley, Az. Mr. Ebert, a retired millwright machinist, was born and spent most of his life in Burlington, Iowa. Survivors include his wife Betty Jeanne, daughter JoAnne (Patrick) O’Hanlon, step-daughters Sandra Jacobsen (granddaughter Lisa Vance), and Joy Dasso, his twin sister Jean Newman, nephew Charles (Cathy) Banks, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Grandchildren Scott O’Hanlon (Lisa) and Lori Watkins (Sydnee, Rylee, Gavin) were ever present, loving, and an important part of his life.   Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Gertrude (Schultz) and Joseph Ebert Sr., his sisters Pauline Banks and Arlene Breuer, and his step-son Jerome Colton. Joseph loved fishing, watching football and baseball, visiting with his neighbors and friends, and never gave up on the Chicago Cubs. Interment will be at the Veterans National Cemetery of Arizona at a later date. Joseph C. Ebert was a truly loving husband, father, and grandfather
