Not sure what to say?

From Flint Central school and football days, through our 1 year together at Purdue and onward for decades of short and long distance friendship I cherish knowing you. Joe, you were and are so special. Sending healing wishes Laura.

Sending my deepest condolences to Laura, Erica, Liza and family. I am grateful for growing up in Flint and to have the opportunity to connect with so many extraordinary people - like Joe Eufinger - who chose to use their lives to make others’ better.

Mr. Eufinger had the rare ability to make his students respect him, fear him, and love him. He was an expert in his subject but also an expert at connecting with students. In my 12 years of schooling, I believe Mr. Eufinger was the only teacher who, without saying a word, disallowed me from being a class clown; I liked him and respected him too much. Coach was larger than Life. He cared about all those who crossed his path. Coach truly embodied what it meant to be an educator and to be educated at times the two intertwine so we never stop learning, growing or developing into the people. We were meant to become our hearts and thoughts and prayers goes to the family and friends in the community. The baton has been passed onto all those of us. Well done. Good and faithful servant. May you rest in the arms of Jesus and receive your kingdom...

R.I.P Coach Joe Eufinger!

Praying for the family. Mr. Eufinger was such a no non sense man of integrity. He was a great teacher and made all the athletes feel as though they could do anything at Flint Central rather a cheerleader or any other sport he encouraged you to always put your best foot Forward.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
