Not sure what to say?

I am sad to hear of Joey’s passing. He was such a fabulous boyfriend. We had so much fun together at U of I. I used to love it when he would wave to me from Phi Psi’s after he dropped me off at Illini Tower. He was always up for a dance and a good time, had a contagious laughter and a beautiful smile. And who can forget his Mick Jagger impressions. I hope you knew how very much I cared for you Joey.

Joe was always a pleasure to be around down in Champaign as part of the Phi Psi house, later on I worked with him on some logistics rail projects when I was with Deere & Company and he headed up Phoenix Rail.

My sincere condolences to Jimmy, Rob and the extended Halliday family.

Joe was a true gift to our family, and his memory will be a bright star to guide us forward.
